Please read the following step by step instructions to understand 'How to Bail Out':
Step One: REGISTER your involvement
REGISTER your inmate or team profile online via this website.
To complete your profile, confess your crime, upload a mug shot and set your fundraising bail target. Choose to accept the challenge as an individual or as part of your gang (team of 4 or more).
BAIL TARGETS:
- Hobart Bail Out:$1,000+
- Sydney Bail Out: $1,000+
- Mt Gamber Bail Out: $1,000+
- Melbourne Bail Out: $1,000+
- Adelaide Bail Out: $1,000+
- Bail Out Gang (team of outlaws): $1,000+ per team member (Great for competing teams, workplaces, families, friends or schools!)
- Death Row: $10,000+ (Maximum security for the who's who of the Bail Out)
*Please note, the above bail targets are the minimum amounts that inmates must raise to secure participation in the 'lock-up' experience.
Step Two: RECRUIT your mates
RECRUIT friends, family and colleagues to participate with you. Invite them to join you in solitary confinement as an individual inmate or as part of a gang. Once you've registered you can find the 'Nominate a Friend' feature when you log into your inmate profile.
Step Three: RAISE your bail
RAISE your bail via this website - quick, simple, convenient and secure.
To participate in the Bail Out lock up experience, inmates must raise the minimum bail target amount specific to the state event.
Encourage your prospective sponsors to bail you out by selecting your profile and making an online donation. Your fundraising tally is kept underneath your online profile so you can track how close you are to reaching your target. (All your sponsors will receive an immediate tax deductible receipt upon processing their payment).
HOST your own Break Out event. A Break Out Party is a great chance to increase your fundraising and raise more awareness for young people at risk.
Step Four: WEAR your Hand-Cuff
The HAND-CUFF is the Bail Out symbol, the means by which we raise awareness for disadvantaged young people at risk.
We urge fundraisers to wear their hand-cuff with pride during the Bail Out campaign.
Step Five: Celebrate your RELEASE
Upon reaching your bail, you can celebrate your release at an official Bail Out event.
Sydney participants that spent the night 'locked-up' will be released the following morning to a well-deserved champagne breakfast.
Upon release, Hobart, Melbourne and Adelaide inmates will be escorted to the official Bail Out Parole Party following their lock-up experience.
