REGISTER
Support youth at risk by registering your online fundraising profile. Confess your crime, release your mug shot and set your fundraising bail target. Choose to accept the challenge as an individual or as part of a gang (team of 4 or more)
RAISE
Once you've raised $25, you'll be issued with a 'hand-cuff' to wear for the week of 24-28 May, to boost awareness of Whitelion and help you reach your Bail target.
RELEASE
Attend the Bail Out Lock-Up & Parole Party events OR celebrate by hosting your own Break Out events.
Whitelion Bail Out week runs from Monday 24th to Friday 28th May and aims to promote Whitelion through fundraising activities and lots of fun events.
Whitelion Bail Out week culminates at the historic Melbourne Crime & Justice Precinct on the evening of Friday 28th May 2010 with the infamous Bail Out ‘inmate’ experience & Parole Party events.
THE BAIL OUT LOCKUP
Whitelion Bail Out Lockup is your opportunity to step into the shoes of a young person. The concept is to 'lock-up' fundraising participants, who will be known as 'inmates', in the Former Police City Watch-House. There will be one cell, one phone and a target of a minimum of one thousand dollars raised by each 'inmate'.
PAROLE PARTY
A truly memorable evening awaits all you crooks, cons & crims as you celebrate your release at the Parole Party in the historic Old Melbourne Gaol. Party like you have just made parole with other fundraising participants and 'inmates'.
BREAK OUT PARTIES
Register your own ‘Break Out’ party during the week to raise money. This could include raising funds at school, in your office or at home. Lock up your teacher or boss for a lunch break and rally the team to bail them out.
