Whitelion Bail Out week runs from Monday 24th to Friday 28th May and aims to promote Whitelion through fundraising activities and lots of fun events.
Whitelion Bail Out week culminates at the historic Melbourne Crime & Justice Precinct on the evening of Friday 28th May 2010 with the infamous Bail Out ‘inmate’ experience & Parole Party events.
Whitelion Bail Out Lockup is your opportunity to step into the shoes of a young person. The concept is to 'lock-up' fundraising participants, who will be known as 'inmates', in the Former Police City Watch-House. There will be one cell, one phone and a target of a minimum of one thousand dollars raised by each 'inmate'.
A truly memorable evening awaits all you crooks, cons & crims that raise a minimum of $125 during the campaign. Celebrate at the historic Old Melbourne Gaol like you've just made parole and watch the 'inmate' release at the official Bail Out event.
Register your own ‘Break Out’ party during the week to raise money. This could include raising funds at school, in your office or at home. Lock up your teacher or boss for a lunch break and rally the team to bail them out. To view what ‘Break Out’ parties are scheduled, please check out our Calendar of Bail Out Event.
