
The award winning Whitelion Bail Out event (voted best special event 3 years running by the Fundraising Institute of Australia) is on again.
The concept is to 'lock-up' fundraising participants, who will be known as 'inmates', in the Old Melbourne Gaol Watch-House. There will be one cell, one phone and a target of a minimum of one thousand dollars raised by each 'inmate'.
- Register as a SOLITARY (individual) inmate
- Join an existing SQUAD (group) of inmates
- Create your own GANG (4 per team) of inmates

As an inmate you'll be given prison attire and send through the process of being fingerprinted, photographed. You'll be served some delicious prison broth and sent to appear before a Magistrate and then be sentenced to some cell time with your group or team or other solitary inmates. Cell are 10x10m and will have 5-8 inmates in a cell at one time. This time will only be approx 10 minutes as you experience all aspects of prison life. It is highly recommended to raise your bail prior to the night as there will be little time to get on the phone to request some final donations.
Bail conditions are hereby set for an evening of community work in which a minimum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) must be raised before release.

Upon your release, you’ll be escorted (free of charge) to the Whitelion Parole Party at approximately 8.30pm.
