Parole Party

If you’re not keen on being locked up at the old Melbourne Gaol, you can still raise bail to attend the Whitelion Parole Bash and party like you’ve just made parole.  Be quick as a limited number of tickets will be available.

Bail conditions are hereby set for an evening of parole partying in which a minimum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) must be raised before release.

A truly memorable evening awaits all you crooks, cons & crims at the historic Old Melbourne Gaol, and the entertainment is sure to shake the walls off H-division.

Felons will enjoy an eclectic array of live performances, great acts and guest appearances. A snapshot includes....

  • Live Music from former Drummer of the Rogue Traders Cam McGlinchey along with the smooth sounds of Djiva
  • Experience Melbourne's latest craze....Silent Disco!
  • Burlesque performances from Miss Kelly Ann Doll, Australia's pinup pocket rocket along with the classic moves of the 'Swing Patrol'
  • An array of comedians fresh from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival
  • Fire dancers, belly dancers, acrobats, magicians, circus performers
  • Stationary attractions including tattooist, cartoonist, black-jack
  • Celebrity guest appearances throughout the night

Felons will enjoy a scrumptious array of prison fare accompanied by moonshine.

The charity auction will have some great items up for grabs, including some once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Those culprits refusing to enjoy themselves may be held in protective custody.

(with Inmates from the Watch House joining the Parole Party upon release at approximately 8.30pm)
Cost: A minimum of $150 must be raised prior to the night to secure your ticket.

Alternatively you could register as a Bail Out inmate and experience first hand what it is like to step into the shoes of a young person that has been disconnected from our community. As an inmate you'll be escorted personally to celebrate your release and experience all the party atmosphere after raising bail.
