Whitelion works with highly vulnerable young people involved with or at risk of involvement with the Youth Justice and/or Out of Home Care and Leaving Care services in Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria.
All donations from the Bail Out campaign will go directly to Whitelion. Below is an idea of how fundraising money will be spent:
$100 - Gives a young person clothing and shoes suitable for a job interview
$1,000 - Gives a young person the opportunity to attend the Whitelion pre-employment training course which provides all the tools a young person need to be work ready and able to hold down a job in the community.
$2,000 - Provides young people with Whitelion role model visits to a disadvantaged schools and a Youth Justice Centre.
$5,000 - Gives a young person the opportunity to participate in the Whitelion Young Lions program for a year.
$10,000 - Supports a young person for a year providing a positive mentoring relationships and a life-changing employment opportunity through Whitelion.
To continue to help Whitelion "break the cycle" for the next 10 years and beyond, we encourage you to again become involved in Whitelion Bail Out 2010 and make a real difference in the life of a young person.
